Returns & Refunds
The Beach Market (TBM) wants all our customers to be happy. We have well described products and size charts where we can to minimize selection mistakes, and we encourage our customers to use these at all times. TBM understands that its customers sometimes may make a mistake when making a purchase, and will offer MONETARY REFUNDS or STORE CREDITS in cirtain situations for cirtain products.
In the case of 1) wrong sizing, or, 2) wrong selection -a refund wanted because of a change of decision with preference for another item; we will be happy to offer STORE CREDIT for the value of the product in question. All shipping for the product will be charged to the customer-The original shipping cost(which for bikinis for example will be zero to begin with) aswell as the new shipping costs for sending the new item out.
The Beach Market will ordinarily only offer MONETARY REFUNDS to the customer in cirtain cases [ See Terms and Conditions(nos 10-13)], a technical or human error or in the case of quality defective products, or missing products. This will be assessed by our Quality Assurance Team, who will make the final descision.
Terms and Conditions excerpt from our website(items10-13):
10.THE BEACH MARKET(TBM) is responsible for the products sold to the USER until it delivers them to the transport or courier company. If there is damage or loss of products during the transport process, the USER must report this situation to TBM within a maximum of 4 days after delivery is made. TBM will then make a claim to the transport company or courier and IN ANY CASE the reply of TBM to the USER will depend on the reply of the transport company or courier.
11.PRODUCT AVAILABILITY: THE BEACH MARKET does not guarantee that all products shown or offered for online sale are always available due to human error. If not available they will be shown as “Sold Out”. In the case that a product purchased by the USER is definitely not available or is not manufactured anymore, TBM will promptly inform the USER and give the option of product change or partial or total refund (total, when all products of the purchase order are definitely not available).
12.ESTIMATED SHIPPING TIME: For retail purchases, TBM compromises to dispatch the products of a purchase order to the USER within 4 to 10 BUSINESS days from payment confirmation. All orders done on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays or holidays in Australia will be processed at the next business day. TBM will not accept any claim or refund requests from the USER if the time passed from order confirmation is between this time frame. TBM reserves the right to change the time/date of shipping depending on product availability or other circumstance, and in this case, TBM will promptly inform the USER.
13.ORDER CANCELLATIONS: Once a sale is confirmed, no cancellation requests will be accepted. A sale cancellation will only be accepted, if TBM does not comply with the shipping time informed to the USER, or if products from the purchase order are definitely not available for shipping, as explained in items 10, 11 and 12 of this Terms and Conditions.
In the case of missing or damaged products upon delivery, the refund will depend on the insurance claim done to the transport company, agent or courier. This is assessed on a case by case basis.
All SALE ITEMS are FINAL. No exchanges, credits or refunds will be given for these unless it has be assessed as quality defective.
TBM will not accept any claim or refund requests from the customer if the time passed from order confirmation is still within the despatch SHIPPING TIME.
